Objective of Establishment of Agriculture,
Commerce and Industry Expert Committee on Plant Factories
The main objective of the Agriculture, Commerce and Industry Expert Committee on Plant Factories is to promote and commercialize plant factories, which have been highlighted recently from the perspective of a safe, secure and stable food supply, as well as to provide consultation about how to establish such factories. The committee also provides assistance for R&D and business operation. In order to attain this objective, the committee is involved in various projects in conjunction with Japan's national policies, etc.
